Link Love - Outdoor Projects

We’ve had so much rain this spring, I can’t wait to get started on some outdoor paint projects.

Butterfly Plant Stake @ FaveCrafts
You won’t believe how the gals @ FaveCrafts made this butterfly. It’s a burnt paper bag! And they posted a wonderful tutorial. I’ve just got to try this one.

Here’s another one I found on Ilovetocreate.com – Aleene’s products, if you’re familiar with Tacky Glue.

Painted Beach Chair @ FaveCrafts
Then they painted this canvas chair seat. Gorgeous! I don’t have a chair like this, but I might do a director’s chair seat – you can get those at CostPlus or Pier 1. Or maybe a pillow?

Plastic Bottle Birdfeeder @ FaveCrafts
Look at this birdfeeder – it’s a plastic soda bottle! What a great repurpose.

Okay, so this isn’t a paint project, but DIYLife wrote a great article on how to get all your outdoor furniture ready for the season.

TheBeeZoo
Remember making salt dough Christmas ornaments? How ‘bout some garden ornaments? Great way to bring some whimsy in.
So what are you doing to get ready for summer? Any painting projects you want to share?
Me, I want to paint some outdoor wallhangings for around the pool. It’s on one of my many ‘to-do’ lists.
