shhh . . . it’s a silhouette secret!

Do affirmations work? Does saying something over and over really change your beliefs? Try this – make your affirmation a bridge between where you are now and where you’d like to be, so it’s within your comfort zone and something believable to you. If you say, “I’m gonna win a million bucks,” it’s not really that believable. But if you say, “I’m open to new avenues of money in fun and joyful ways,” that is within your comfort zone.

Well, it’s not really a secret. There are 14 bloggers who are giving away Silhouettes (that I’m aware of) . And I really, really, REALLY want one! So I’m entering all of their giveaways.

So if I want to win one, why would I tell anyone else? Good karma, maybe? Or maybe because I really like all of these blogs and want to share them with you? Doesn’t matter why, I guess. I just am!

Have you heard of Silhouettes? They are fabulous. They cut all kinds of stuff. And you don’t need a cartridge! It hooks up to your computer and you can cut lettering and tons of clip art.

You can make vinyl decals, paper crafts, school projects and – my personal favorite – heat transfers for fabric. That’s what I’m going after. I’m wanting to do all kinds of holiday projects on fabric with this baby.

I haven’t used a Silhouette, but I used to have a Cricut. I sold it to a dear friend in a weak moment, who adores it, so maybe the Karma Lords will smile down on me and send me a Silhouette.
