That’s a pretty strong title, isn’t it? Must Do! for Bloggers. Let me tell you why I believe that Blogfrog is so important for bloggers.
1. BlogFrog is incredibly easy to use.
It’s easy to sign up, easy to find and follow friends – and get them to follow you. It’s easy to join communities, or create your own.
2. BlogFrog is full of wonderfully supportive people.
Women and men. You can see their profiles with just a click, read their discussions and recent blog posts. I’ve met some great people via BlogFrog.
3. BlogFrog leads to blog followers.
I’ve gained more followers from BlogFrog than any bloghop or linky party I’ve joined. And I link up to a lot of weekly parties. And the followers that come from BlogFrog are a lot more active than the ones from bloghops.
4. BlogFrog management is responsive to questions.
Have you ever been on a site and had a good idea? At least, you think it’s a good idea. I had one a while back for BlogFrog and emailed them. Within a week they not only responded to my email – they implemented my suggestion.
5. You can make money thru your BlogFrog community.
Just form your own community (and let me know if you do!) and click enable Advertising. It’s ppc (pay-per-click) and great advertisers. Really! Check out some of the communities and you’ll see name brands.
6. BlogFrog is now the nation’s largest network of Mom Blogs.
“BlogFrog Now Connects 50,000 Mom Bloggers to 5.5 Million Women Online.” Hello?!? Even if you’re not a ‘mom blogger’ (which you know, technically-speaking, I’m not) that’s a lot of potential women readers. 5.5 million!
7. BlogFrog’s Discussion menu has a ton of options.
Font size & color, of course. Smiley’s. Bullets & numbering for lists. Hyperlinks. Pictures. Pictures!!!
How many times have you commented on a blog and wanted to upload a picture? You can’t, can you? But you can with BlogFrog.
I tried and tried to figure out how to engage readers on Feng Shui Savvy. I wanted a way that they could post pics, ask questions, talk back and forth, etc. I thought about Facebook. That would work, but not with all the bells & whistles that BlogFrog has.
Wanna join my new Feng Shui Savvy BF community?
8. You can choose all kinds of BlogFrog widgets.
A community widget, like mine, for your sidebar. Or one that shows recent visitors. Or just a simple button.
9. If you’re on Blogger or WP, you can make your BlogFrog Community a static page.
Keep your BF friends right on your site with this feature. I just found that out tonight and haven’t even implemented it here. But I will tomorrow!
10. You can design your BlogFrog community page to look like your blog.
I haven’t even had a chance to do that either. I was too busy lining up my Feng Shui Savvy community. But it’s a cool feature.
Yes, I’m a huge fan of BlogFrog. No, I’m not receiving any compensation for this endorsement. Today they launched a revamped website and I was so excited, I decided to tell you why I like BF so much.
If you’re already on BlogFrog, message me so I can follow you. If you have your own community, let me know so I can join.
