June in Review

EnviroTex-Resin-Table-10

I think when we’re busy, time passes faster. And June was a busy month. Starting with this outdoor tray/table made with Envirotex Lite Resin. I’m dying to use the resin on another project soon. But it’s not just for tables. Check out all the links on my post for over 20 great resin ideas!

I spent a good portion of the month painting fairies.

I needed the practice for this enchanted garden mural.

Even though each fairy was only 6 inches tall or so, the practice paid off.

For the same nursery, I scoured thrift stores and gathered an assortment of frames. Then I had to figure out how to paint antique gold faux finish to match the baby’s sensational crib.

In between painting fairies and cherry blossoms I managed to do a couple of painting tutorials including how to paint oriental poppies.

And how to paint roses.

Happy Friday and Happy July! Hope you have something fun planned for this weekend.
