Mod Podge Rocks! And a Giveaway

mod-podge-rocks-book

I am so excited about this! Do you see that pic up there ^^^? Underneath the familiar Mod Podge Rocks! No, under that. Right there! Do you see it?

Amy Anderson

That’s Amy!! Amy of Mod Podge Rocks! Amy, who is one of my besties. Amy, who I painted the cute l’il totebag for. She wrote a book! How fantastic is that?

I’m just a tad bit excited, can you tell?

Oh, it’s an awesome book and I’ll get to that in a minute. But first lemme tell you a bit about Amy because I’m just so very, very proud of her and so very, very happy to call her my friend.

First off, she’s an awesome blogger. I mean, who else do you know has taken not just a niche, but a single product and created a phenomenal blog around it? That’s not easy, believe me. I know. I’m trying. But Mod Podge Rocks isn’t her only blog. Nope. She also has DecorHacks and Refashion Files, and is a contributor to Babble – The New Home Dec. Busy gal. Crazy busy. But that’s not all she does. Nope.

Amy’s also one of the creators of Crafterminds, simply the most helpful resource out there for creative bloggers. If you ever have a question about blogging, check out Crafterminds. And I highly recommend you join us each Monday at 1 pm PST for our weekly Twitter chats. Just use #crafterminds to find us. The chats are fun, informational and always, always, supportive.

Just like Amy Smile!

And just like her new book! Definitely fun, incredibly informational, and written in a wonderfully supportive style. It’s a great resource for creative people.

Besides telling you the difference between all the Mod Podge products, Amy also provides loads of tips. Oh, and there are over 40 Mod Podge projects.

And you can even learn how to podge some furniture! How cute is that?

But here’s my favorite, okay, ONE of my favorite parts about the book -

modpodgerocks-6

STEP-BY-STEP PHOTOS. Hello? How many times have you seen a pic of something you can’t wait to make and then all you get are a bunch of written instructions.

It’s the main reason I can’t cook. In case you’re interested. Which you probably aren’t, but I’m just sayin’. I love need photos! And all 40 projects have photos, thankyouverymuch.

Wouldn’t you rather win one? You can, right here! Is it just me or does FREE make everything better Winking smile.

I'm an aspiring mixed-media artist who recently bought the Modge Podge sample pack from Michaels. I'd love to win this book in order to get some great ideas on how to use Modge Podge in my artwork.

  20. I'm an old Mod Podger from way back in the old 70's hippie day. The last project I did was of my mother's old cookbook that was in near tatters. After repairing I mod podged it with a cover complimenting her kitchen decor. It now looks so much better and resides at my youngest daughter's house. Thanks for a chance to win.

  23. Oh my gosh, what would I mod podge?! EVERYTHING! There are so many things I want to mod podge but I've never done it! I'm to chicken - I've heard it's so easy but I'm always afraid I'll wreck my "item" if I try it and mess it up. I've never seen anyone do it.
I've never seen an example of how to do it.
    Only the instructions. LOL

If I win I'll have to step outside that box and start all the projects I've got lying around just waiting for some love!
