First, I never, ever win anything. Really. I usually don’t even bother entering. But this gal’s website was so cute, I had to try.
I was blog-hopping and found her site and she offered a free blog button charm. And I won!
She mailed me (quickly) this darling charm with necklace chain.
My button is on one side & the ‘Believe’ castle is on the other. Perfect! Kind of a reminder for me to believe in myself.
And the 2nd shout-out goes to Infarrantly Creative for her Link Love. She showcased my Tuskegee Airplane mural.

This was such a wonderful surprise yesterday. You know how you when you start blogging, feel like no one is really listening and you follow the ‘popular’ gals? Well, Beckie @ IC has always, always, replied to my comments, which I value so much. In fact, we’ve had a couple of email conversations that make me feel like I actually know her.
Head over to these 2 gals and check out their blogs. And, please, please, let them know you saw them here. It’s so much fun to know where visitors are coming from, you know? Beckie asked her readers to mention her and they were a bit remiss. Since I get her posts by email, I just happened to see my showcase, otherwise I would’ve missed it – and it made my day!
So, Janelle & Beckie, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Okay, on to Tinkerbell! Her mommy is a bloggin’ buddy who saw a previous post on my pet portraits. I offered to paint Tinkie in exchange for a blog review post & an ad space. (Yes, I’m open to bartering!)
Here are the photos she sent me.
This is the picture I worked from.
This was taken by a professional . I used it for my color key.
This is the finished painting -
It’s on an 8x10 canvas, ready to frame. Here’s her mommy’s blog -
I hope you get a chance to visit these 3 wonderful ladies – and tell them I sent you!
And here are some more fun places to visit.
Coming later today (well, maybe tomorrow) we’ll start looking at our home entrances with feng shui. We’ll being with the exterior – how your house looks from the outside.
When you can, walk outside and try and objectively look at your front door. Walk up the walkway – what do you see? Hear? Smell?

That is so beautiful. Great job and congrats on winning the super cute charm.
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up with the Talented Tuesday link party at My Frugal Family, which is hosted every Tuesday. Please feel free to stop back in every week and post your newest projects!
Great painting...
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! You really do great work!
ReplyDeletePrecious!!! That is an even cuter Pom than mine!! :)
ReplyDeleteOOOOHH!!! I LOVE this!!! I was stopping by to show my husband and daughter the amazing mural you did for the fire station - which they LOVED, by the way! That is when I discovered this wonderful painting of Tinkerbell. It literally brought tears to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteUntil early last year, we had a Pomeranian, Keanu (Not my favorite name but he was already named when we adopted him. :0) Keanu looked almost exactly like Tinkerbell! Unfortunately, though, he died very suddenly and unexpectedly after a short illness that our vet was never able to explain. It broke our hearts!!
A few months later, I was finally able to start looking for a new puppy. My family and I decided we wanted another Pom because they are such great companions.
After a thorough search, we found our new puppy, Casper - a full blooded Pom who is solid black except for a tiny bit of white on his chest. We have had him now for about 7 months. He is SO cute but he is definitely a puppy and likes to lots of things to get into trouble! He and our sweet, gentle black lab, Sadee (4 years old) get along so well. In fact, from the time we brought Casper into our home, Sadee has treated him as if she gave birth to him! LOL! It is really sweet and, often times quite funny!
Well, I suppose all of that is probably WAY more than you ever wanted to know. :0) I'm sorry for getting so long-winded. I tend to do that now and then. I will go now but I want to say a quick thank you for stopping by my blog today and for leaving such a sweet comment. I really do appreciate it. Thanks, too, for sharing all of your amazing work with all of us. You have been blessed with an extraordinary gift and I'm so glad you have chosen to share it in this public forum! I'll definitely be back again soon to see more!
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
Blessings,
Teresa <><
P.S. Here's a post I did when we lost Keanu. There's a few pictures of him on there.
