I’m loving Fridays these days. It’s the one day of the week I don’t wonder what to post. And it’s just plain ol’ fun.





I’m so glad you stopped in today. Click around and you’ll see some of my artwork and the stories behind them. I’m a self-taught artist – except for that one college class in the ‘70’s and I quit all painting & drawing after taking that class.

I love to paint. It’s my meditation, my joy, my passion. I also love to teach painting. Not Art – painting. I’m not an art teacher, but I am a painting teacher.

All those ‘PIY’ posts? Those are for anyone – whether you can paint or not. They are specifically designed for people who “can’t draw a stick figure.”  You don’t need to – I include the line art. All you need to be able to do is color within the lines. And the best part? They’re all FREE for the time being.
