Twitter. Facebook. Blogs. StumbleUpon. Linked In. This Forum. That Forum.
And now . . . Pinterest.
Like I need one more site online to play around work with. I spend more time online than I spend painting.
I’m trying to reduce my time online, not increase it. But I was curious about Pinterest. Seemed easy enough (it is!). Just ‘pin’ a photo you’ve found online. Categorize it how you want. And that’s it.
No big deal.
Until one night when I spent a couple hours on there. Pinning. Repinning.
Uh-Oh. Trouble.
I am seriously hooked. Unless you’re on there, you won’t understand – and that’s okay. This post isn’t supposed to be about Pinterest. It’s about a very cool blogger I found on Pinterest who painted red coral designs all over her bathroom.
And shows you how to do it.
Her name is Donatella and I’m in love with her creative eye. She painted curtains. She painted towels.
She painted door knobs.
Everything matches but doesn’t look ‘matchy’. Clever, clever girl.
So, see? You don’t have to join Pinterest after all. You can just wait until someone – like me – picks their favs and blogs about them.
But if you can’t wait, go ahead and join. Just remember - it’s highly addictive.
You’ve been warned.
Do you have a paint project you'd like to have featured on Mural Maker & More? I'd love to share your creativity here. Just email me at MuralMaker1@gmail.com and let me know!
