31 Days of Kids Crafts!

31 day button

Thirty one days of blogging. Continuously. 31!

Should I or shouldn’t I?

I had convinced myself I should not. Even though last year I did 31 days of Holiday Paint Projects (ok, almost 31 days) and it was an exceptional challenge and accomplishment, I didn’t think I was ready to make this commitment yet. Since my husband died in May, I haven’t even blogged for 5 days a week, not to mention 7.

An entire month?!? I must be nuts. But then, you already knew that didn’t you?

Here’s my rationalization – I need, and want, to get back to blogging full time. The Nester’s 31 day challenge is just that – a challenge. But it’s also fun and there are tons of other bloggers, as in 800+, joining in this year. This time I’m taking it a bit easier (I hope) by not actually creating projects myself. Hear me out . . .

If there’s one thing I am forever googling it’s Kids Crafts. Cute kids crafts. My grandson, Santino, is now five years old but we’ve been crafting since before he was two. He loves to craft and I love to watch him.

So basically I’m turning my blog into my own personal Pinterest board for Kids Crafts for a month, only with commentary. Y’all know how I like to talk write.

Here’s the thing though, these 31 kids crafts will be in addition to my own paint projects. Told ya I was nuts. No, seriously, I have a few more Halloween projects, some fall florals and, whoo boy, do I have Christmas this year! But there’s no way I’m committing to painting, photographing, editing, and writing for 31 days straight.

Sorry.

What I can do is google, read, and then google some more, and then read some more, and then share. Especially share. I love sharing. So some days I’ll have one post -just a Kids Craft and some days I’ll have two posts, a Kids Craft and a project of my own.  Fun, huh?

Ok, I’m gonna scurry over to The Nester’s and add my link to make it all official and stuff. You might wanna head over there yourself and see all the fabulous themes people are blogging about this month.

See you tomorrow!
