Doggie Portrait – Mixed Poodle

Dog Portrait
Meet “Butters Worthington Scotch”! Also known as ‘Butters’, for short. This little bundle of fluff is my niece’s puppy. Isn’t he a doll?
I promised my niece last year I’d do a portrait for her, especially after I painted a portrait of my nephew’s bulldog.
I went to her facebook page and looked at Butters’ pictures there.
Dog Portrait
I chose this pose because it was the clearest of his little face.
Dog Portrait
This was my favorite picture, but it wasn’t clear enough for me to pick up his features.
Dog Portrait
This photo was perfect to see how tousled his fur is. Look at all those curls on his forehead!
As any of you know, photo resolution for the web (Facebook) is totally different than for prints. This is the 2nd portrait I’ve done from Facebook photos. Thank goodness for laptops!
