The quickest & cheapest way to update a space is with paint.

RemodelingCenter.com has 25 Tips on Painting. The article is well worth the read. You might know most of the tips, but there were a few that saved me some time.

If you’ve never check out CasaSugar, here’s a great introduction. It’s a great site with tons of home decor info. But this simple little tip for catching drips was one of those ‘Duh!’ moments for me.

  1. My best painting trick (I think I learned from Rhoda) but if you are in the middle of the paint job and have to wait in between coats you can wrap your brush in plastic wrap and stick in the fridge. Saves a little clean up time and keeps the brush from getting dried up!

  2. So true, Jess. Even with my artist brushes, I throw them into a ziplock baggy, if I stop painting for a while. Putting your 'house' painting brushes in the fridge works great!
