Daily Inspiration -This week I’m busy with my fall painting projects. I’m also doing a faux finish in a fantastic house in the foothills that overlooks a golf course. Can’t wait to show you the pictures!
Imagine your thoughts as ‘activators’. Thinking about resistance activates more resistance. Focusing upon allowing activates more allowing. Your thoughts are powerful activators. Choose the ones that feel good to you.
In the meantime, I wanted to share some projects that use stamps and stencils. Each one has a completely different look, which I think is wonderful.

Look at this darling dragonfly and leaves. Patti @ OnHollyhockFarm used stamps to paint them. Cute, huh? But there’s more to this project – it started out as a chair and became a shelf!

Doesn’t this table look like something you’d find in a Home & Garden boutique? That’s what I thought, until I saw the before pics @ BlueArtichokeInteriors. I’ve always admitted my challenges with stencils, but seeing this, I think I’m ready to give it another try.

Have you tried freezer paper stencils? I haven’t, I’m afraid. Julie @ LessThanPerfectLifeofBliss makes it seem so easy and has great pictures and tips. After she stencilled the black bird & branch she appliqued the colorful leaves. I'm thinking Fall and how fun this would be!
