A Faux Finish That You Won’t Believe

Let me start by saying,

I love Blogging!!

There. Got that outta my system.

But, seriously, I was just saying last night, I could spend 18 hours a day blogging – I love it so much.

I love the support in the blogging community. And I love sharing other people’s projects that I find via linky parties.

Especially paint projects.

 

I found this last night. Cute, huh? I love wrought iron grilles and at first glance I thought maybe she spray painted some existing pieces.

Nope!

This is what those four wall pieces are made out of. Seriously!

I know. I couldn’t believe it either.

Paper towel and toilet paper rolls. And Tacky glue?!? I wouldn’t have believed it if she hadn’t post these pics.

Pretty amazing, right?

Here’s another amazing tidbit. Suzy, of Suzy’s Artsy Craftsy Sitcom contacted me last fall and requested an interview for her Wednesday series.

I was thrilled. It’s my first blog interview.

Between Life and the holidays, I let the questionnaire fall between the cracks and just found it yesterday morning. So I answered all her questions and emailed them to her. Then, while bloghopping last night, I saw a little thumbnail, clicked on it, and said, “Hey! This is Suzy!”

Then, “Hey! This is incredible!”

So before she features me (next Weds.) I’m featuring her!

But wait. It gets even more interesting.

Today I had planned on featuring a blogger buddy who has just launched a new site.

She showcases not only her own knock-offs, but other crafters who love Ballards, PB, PB Kids & Land of Nod. Cool, huh?
