Chances are, if you’ve visited this blog before, you’ve painted a piece of furniture. Or two.

Or maybe you’ve just admired the furniture paint jobs all over Blogland. Me too.

But I hadn’t come across a truly comprehensive tutorial on painting furniture. Until now.

Kate @ Centsational Girl wrote a wonderful post on the basics of painting wood furniture – everything from sanding to sealing.

Easy to read, easy to understand.

And while I admire the optimism of people who spray paint furniture, I think if you have a piece that you want to last and last, Kate’s tips are priceless.
