I’m really not much of a traveler, I guess. But after this weekend, and staying at The Ridge at Tahoe, I could certainly become one.
I haven’t stayed in a hotel at Tahoe because we always just stay at our cabin. But I absolutely loved these accommodations. I did feel a little silly taking pictures of the inside of The Ridge, but then I remembered how much I enjoy looking at Ree’s hotel pics.
It’s a two bedroom suite. This is the common area. Plenty of room for our group of four. And a few more, in fact.
Complete with a gas fireplace and a flat screen tv.
We didn’t cook, but we certainly could have.
Or even baked. Like some muffins.
Except I don’t even bake muffins at home.
But they had all the utensils to bake some here.
Seriously, can you believe this kitchen?!? Dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge.
I am lovin’ these time-share room/suites.
This is our room – the 2nd bedroom. It has a separate entrance and also a adjoining door to the common area.
And a gadget. BBH loves him some gadgets. First thing he did was pick the sleep number control and play around.
I have to admit, it was nice having my side hard as a rock and he loved his gooshy soft side.
Even our room had a microwave and coffee maker.
And a fridge, cups and plates.
An ironing board. Not for me. My stuff rolls up. But BBH? He had this thing out at least 2x a day.
Guess it’s true – opposites attract.
Just in case you score big at the casinos, they even include a safe.
It didn’t get any use this trip.
I was gonna say these didn’t either, but no. BBH used the dryer last night.
{He has some ‘issues’ when it come to his clothes.}
I’m just sayin’ . . .
While he played with the sleep number thingamajig, dried his clothes and then ironed them, I propped the computer in front of a gorgeous view of the Carson Valley.
Opposites attract, it’s true, but we both agree that we’d stay at these timeshares again any time.
I wonder if they have some in Nashville for next year’s Blissdom?
