Christmas Decor Ideas

I’ve been so busy that I don’t know whether to sit or spin.

Where does that phrase come from anyway?

While I get all of my photos edited for my recent projects . . . and I mean all . . . I thought you might enjoy some holiday decorating inspiration that caught my eye this week.

These ideas come from my Pinterest decorating board. Please click thru to the original source for all of the details so you don’t miss a thing.

I’m not looking forward to actual snow here, but wouldn’t it be fun to bring the frosted look inside? If only I had my ice skates from . . . 50 years ago or so.

They called these Holiday Pomanders. I’d never heard of them but I gotta admit that I love the idea of creating an elevated display of ball ornaments mixed with leaves and branches.

This is an elegant mantel treatment using the underside of magnolia leaves, some cones and damask ribbon. Simple, yet stunning.

Alright, that’s enough goofing off for me. I’m back to my own decorating, if I can find my way through totes, ribbon and freshly clipped holly and cedar branches.

How about you? Have you started decorating? Or do you wait until after Thanksgiving?
