Was finishing a paint project tonight and got a wonderful email from Jael Custom Designs.
“Amanda over at Manda Blogs About had this awesome idea that will help us all to build backlinks, and improve our authority with Technorati and hopefully boost our page rank with Google. All that you have to do is pick four or five blogs and write a quick paragraph about their blog. Link back to each of their sites. After you have finished writing about the blogs you have chosen let the blogger know in a comment on their blog and then (hopefully) that person will join in too.”
My choices for this week are:
Thrifty Decor Chick. Sarah never ceases to amaze me with all of her projects around her beautiful home. Not only is she a talented decorator, she’s wonderful at explaining how to accomplish her projects.
Mod Podge Rocks. If you can glue, you can Mod Podge. She finds the most creative projects and I always feel like they’re something I can do.
One Pretty Thing. I don’t know how she finds all the sites she does, but I’m so grateful. I love seeing all the creative projects all over the blogosphere. She posts every day. It’s amazing!
Martha. Yes, Martha. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t find something useful on her website. I love all the freebies she offers. While I may not do the exact project, I get loads of inspiration from her ideas.
Centsational Girl. I’m pretty new to her blog, but I love her posts. She always has wonderful pictures and great decorating projects. Her Halloween decorating was incredible. Her tutorials are easy to follow and her style is spot on!
Can’t wait to find five more favorite this week!
Colleen
How very kind of you, thank you !

Hi, I wanted to thank you for your comment on my blog. You asked where I was at. I am east of Stockton in the Foothills (u would take 99 south and then take the farmington rd/Hwy 4 exit and it would take you to Copperopolis. We have a very cute town square. It would be a great day trip then you could go on to Angels Camp or Murphys, CA. for a visit to some great gold rush towns. I like the Fair Oaks area and have spent weekends going to Placerville and I bought my Aussie in Auburn. Love that whole area. Maybe I'll have to do a daycation there and post about it. Come back anytime. Love the bridge and the rock wall on the stage it looks real. What an awesome job you have.
ReplyDeleteAudrey, it's been 30 years since I was in Copperopolis and it was so quaint. I need to come out that way w/my camera. My brother lived in Murphys a while back, too. Now in Tahoe.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments on the sets. Yes, I do have an awesome job, although this is the first time I've painted sets. More of my work @ http://www.muralmaker1.com. Click on Art Gallery and you'll see my portfolio.
If you make your way to Placerville, we just found a new bakery on upper Main street (Broadway) that is incredible! I've been telling everyone, it is so scrumptious. Keep it in mind - "Beyond Baking" is their name.
Thank you Colleen! That was so nice of you, what a sweet post.
ReplyDeleteColleen, you are so awesome! Thank you - I'm a fan on FB now. You have a cute blog here. :D
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome, Amy. Just thought of you yesterday while in TJMaxx. Saw some great serving trays - melamine - and thought, Hey! I could modpodge those, huh?
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm visiting from MBC. Great blog.
ReplyDeleteVeronica, thanks for visiting. I have to get over to your blog, too!
