Big Plans!

Do you know how the simplest things in life take you down a new road or open new doorways? Well, that’s the way I feel about my blog this week. It all started when Kim @ TodaysCreativeBlog asked me to be a Community Leader in her BlogFrog Community. Seemed simple enough – just start a few discussions each week. Well, one thing I can do is ‘talk’!

 

 

 

It has been so much fun because lots of bloggers are responding on BlogFrog. I love interacting with them. It’s more than Twitter because you can write as much as you want. It’s more direct than Facebook because everyone is responding to a specific topic. I am sooo loving it!

 

Then I got to thinking that I love writing about so much more than my artwork – decorating, feng shui, DIY projects, etc. Could I incorporate them here? So I asked my BFF’s @ BlogFrog if I should start a new blog, change the title here, or just go for it. I’m just going for it, folks.

 

Now, I’m a big list-maker. Lists for everything. So here’s my Weekly List for blog topics. Don’t laugh. I know it’s a lot, but I’ve always set high goals.

• Craft Link Love – showcasing wonderful crafts from my fav linky parties

Thursday -

• Tips & Techniques – specific decorating & craft techniques
• PIY Kits – paint-it-yourself projects

Friday -

• Friday Follow
• Cool New Products

Saturday -

• Feng Shui Saturday – the basics

Sunday -

• Appreciation Day

 

Ambitious? Yeah, I’d say so. Crazy? Probably. Especially in light of this week’s events – three art commissions came in, in one day!

 

So I’m not actually sure I can really write all this, plus paint, plus create PIY kits, plus, plus, plus -- but I really want to. Plus some meme’s of my own! Yeah, big plans, alright. It might take me a couple of weeks to really get into the swing of it, but I’m really committed to the Calendar.

 

If you have any ideas, I’d love to share them. Or something you’d like to see covered, I’d love that too.
